Job Description

SGS is a globally recognised provider of Measurement & Calibration services. As a result of success in securing new contracts and to further develop our already established measurement and calibration businesses we are seeking well qualified and experienced measurement professionals to support the further development and expansion of our global operations.

Working within our global measurement and calibration operations team, you'll provide high value measurement system design reviews, audits, trouble shooting and verification services.

As a Senior Measurement Consultant, you will mentor and assist junior members of staff as well as lead, direct, and monitor project teams to ensure consultancy engagements are complete on time, on budget, and that company and client quality objectives are satisfied.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in design and start-up of metering systems, audits, technical studies and technical management of measurement system operations.

In addition, we're interested in candidates who have;

• Proven experience in measurement and instrumentation consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of various measurement technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Must be able to demonstrate effective communication and supervisory experience in an operational environment.
• Must have experience of preparing detailed procedures and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related science based subject.
• Full driving license for use in the UK
