Overview
Highly successful international SME manufacturing company require part time (around 3 days a week) ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Head of Finance to undertake a challenging and varied position based at company Head Office in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
About the role.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Group CFO the Head of Finance will oversee a small finance team and will be responsible for all day to day Financial & Management Accounting. Key duties include:
- Forming close working relationships with the MD and Group CFO
- Finance business partner to the MD and SMT to formulate strategies & plans and providing sound financial guidance regarding key strategic decisions
- Responsible for the month–end close and providing detailed Financial Reporting for Head Office review
- Produce monthly management accounts for review by the Senior Management Team
- Statutory Accounts preparation, taxation and liaison with the company auditors
- Control of working capital, cash–flow and managing company bank account
- Preparation of the 12 month rolling budget and attending budget review meetings with key cost centre managers
- Overseeing a small finance team
- Monthly flash and KPI reporting
About you
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified you will have previously worked as the Head of Finance within an SME environment and be capable of making sound Financial Decisions
- A strong relationship builder you will act as Financial Business partner and ensure an increased awareness of the financial implications of high level decision making.
- Actively looking for a part time role you will be available 2–3 days a week
