Job description
The ONE Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a long standing family run business based in Spalding, who are looking for an operational and 'hands on' Finance Controller to oversee a small team and the smooth running of the finance department.
You will need to be at least AAT qualified and have ability to work in a busy accounts team with a customer- centric approach.
You will be responsible for a varied role, including the following:
- Support the transactional team with the ledger work, including invoicing, payment runs and payroll.
- Debt chasing
- Vat Returns
- Laise and report to key stakeholders on a regular basis
- Oversee, review and adhere to budgets for each department
- Cashflow forecasting
- Manage the year end audits
- Month end management accounts
- Maintain accurate stock figures
- Analys the financial climate and market trends to assist in creating strategic plans for the future.
This role requires you to be fully site based, therefore you must live a commutable distance to Spalding.
For the right person and someone who is willing to put the work in, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Finance position in the next few years.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00-5.00 with a 30 minuet lunch break. Your start and finish time can be flexible if you prefer to start earlier.
The salary for the role is paying up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
