Sheridan Maine is excited to be working with a leading business in their search for a pro-active Assistant Management Accountant, to play a critical role in their Management Accounting team. This is a permanent position which offers a hybrid working arrangement: 1 day WFH and 4 days in their office based near Dorchester.
Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly group reporting.
- Generate monthly cost centre reviews, comparing budget, actuals versus forecast.
- Compile substantial data accurately, providing insightful commentary on budget variations.
- Reconcile balance sheets.
- Allocate cash receipts and process expenses.
- Manage profit and loss statements.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and internal reporting for the senior finance team.
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following qualifications and experience: - Proficient IT skills, particularly intermediate Excel proficiency.
- Proactive and confident attitude with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills, adept at prioritising and managing workload effectively to meet all deadlines
