**Position:** Physiotherapist
**Location:** Barrow-in-Furness
**Type:** Full-time (Monday to Thursday, 8 am to 4.45 pm, and early finish Fridays, 8 am to 12.30 pm)
**Potential for Hybrid Work:** One day a week working remotely
**Relocation Assistance:** Available, if required
**Role and Responsibilities:**
- Provide accurate clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for employees with musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries and/or disorders.
- Classify clinical MSK disorders into work-relatedness categories.
- Generate reports for management, indicating fitness to work and any required role adjustments.
- Lead onsite exercise classes for rehabilitating employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
- Communicate effectively with the wider occupational health team.
- Conduct Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and offer prophylactic advice.
- Provide recommendations to customers based on DSE assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards and assess the risk of these hazards causing or aggravating MSK ill health.
- Conduct ergonomic risk assessments in collaboration with Safety Health & Environment advisors.
- Inform the wider occupational health team about necessary work practice or environment changes.
- Facilitate effective rehabilitation of staff with MSK disorders, whether work-related or not.
- Maintain comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
- Collect statistical information for report generation and contribute to/run health promotion events.
**Minimum Requirements:**
- Minimum of 2 years of UK experience.
- HCPC registered.
- No Visa applications or sponsorships at present.
**Salary:**
- Up to £42,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
