Job description

We require a Deputy Headteacher for teaching and learning and the curriculum based at our Spring Hall site, and a Deputy Headteacher for teaching and learning and the curriculum based at our Skircoat Green site.
These are full time permanent positions to commence 1st September 2024

Are you a highly motivated, dedicated and experienced leader who would like to work in an Outstanding generic special school?

We are looking to appoint two exceptional leaders to the post of Deputy Headteacher to join the existing senior leadership team (SLT). The successful candidates will have the drive and passion to continue the development of the whole school curriculum enabling pupils to thrive and exceed through each stage of their education journey. They will work alongside a large team of committed and talented staff, to ensure that all pupils feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning.
We wish to appoint individuals whose attitudes support the school’s ethos as a principle requirement, and who:

• Can provide vision, strategic leadership & direction for the school
• Can support the management of the school including day to day operations, managing staff and resources

• Is able to show a commitment to working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of the students

These are two discrete positions, with slightly different responsibilities. If candidates have a strong preference for one of the roles, this should be indicated on the application form.
