3D Exhibition Stand Designer, Bedford, £30-40k
The successful Designer will become part of a warm, friendly and sometimes lively team and will work directly with Project Managers and the company’s Creative Director and will take an active role in client briefing and presentation meetings
Responsibilities:
*Following projects from start to finish
*Attending client briefing meetings and recording accurate instruction from the client
*Presenting concepts to clients with Project Manager, and liaising with them on all design and graphic elements
*Producing 3D creative solutions that not only fulfil the brief, but also practical and take into account manufacturing and costing restraints
*Ensuring builds are feasible within the agreed budget and timeframe
*Liaise with the Production Manager and producing accurate and detailed CAD/production drawings for the workshop.
Requirements:
*Ability to interpret a brief accurately and taking into consideration the clients branding and vision
*Prior/Relevant 3D Design background (Exhibition Stands, Interiors, Outdoor Events, POS/Displays), coupled with a portfolio which will ideally showcase your creativity, rendering, and ability to produce working drawings for manufacture.
*Full Proficiency in 3D software/CAD and Photoshop is essential
*High quality rendering capabilities is a must
*Technical drawings for CNC laser cutting and steel fabrication as well as drawings for manufacture
*Understanding of manufacturing processes and substrates
*Ability to manage multiple projects within given deadlines
*Knowledge of costing and providing designs within budget
You must be UK based and live within a commutable distance of the where the position is located. Sponsorship is not available so you will need to have full leave to remain.
