We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Logistics Chargehand at Hinkley Point C.
As a Logistics Chargehand, for this role you will have a background or knowledge of industrial paints and painting equipment (including quality testing equipment). You will be reporting to the Logistics Manager, Stores within MEH Logistics team. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with blue and white collar workforce. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

- Shift pattern of 4 days a week: Monday to Thursday (39h)

Essential Skills:
- Experience of working with and the storage of industrial Paints – knowledge of types and painting equipment, including paint quality testing equipment.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Good Computer skills and experience in using asset control software.
- Good communication Skills including written, verbal & numeracy.
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of storage asset management system.
Qualifications
- CITB Supervisor Test (must be completed before start date)
- SSSTS (must be completed before start date)
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
