Our Regional Managers are Personally accountable for the customer experience. They are inspirational leaders in our business they role model and live our values every day and are exemplars to all our colleagues. Our RM’s take pride in their recruitment, training, development and the engagement of their teams. They are responsible for maximising profit and minimising loss. RM’s must ensure that all colleagues have absolute clarity on their sales targets and strive to deliver them on a daily basis. They always ensure that our promotions and commercial changes have been implemented accurately within their Region and run to the Company standards and expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
Accountable for ensuring a customer focused culture across their Region, genuinely passionate about meeting the needs of our customers through coaching the use of customer feedback to improve the overall experience in our garages
Accountable for the recruitment, training, development and engagement of the Centre Management teams and the colleagues in their Region.
Owns the Regional succession plan and is responsible for managing the performance of their Centre Managers and RSM
Accountable for ensuring the accurate planning of colleague deployment in their Region to the planned labour model
Accountable for maximising sales through defining, implementing, influencing and achieving the sales strategy, proactively identifying opportunities, inspiring and leading the regional centre teams
Accountable for ensuring the Centres are operating efficiently whilst adhering to policies and procedures.
Quality must be checked and maintained at all times
Responsible for the overall profitability of their Regions Centres through minimizing costs and risk
Accountable for health and safety and legislation within their Centres.
Responsible for ensuring that their Centres are safe environments for colleagues and customers and that any accidents are reported in a timely and appropriate manner.
Regional Manager will be able to work strategically to support the growth of your Region and the strategic plan
Show initiative and excellent decision making skills, along with the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and execute to achieve results.
Key Skills & Experience
Deliver against customer metrics, through coaching/training in the moment to ensure that our customers have a great experience
A minimum level of technical ability to maintain a level of flexibility for our customers
Experience of developing colleagues through delivering technical training
Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills both verbally and in writing
Must have a strong track record leading teams to deliver outstanding results, and to support the delivery of the strategic plan
A track record of success in delivering against sales targets
Regional Manager must have held a number of successful senior centre manager or regional manager roles delivering on performance. Experience of managing capability and performance of teams
Evidence of commercial acumen and an appreciation of current operating environment
Track record of meeting compliance standards across health and safety and a Centre environment
IT proficient, with experience of working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the aptitude to learn in-house systems Experience of labour force scheduling, and associated time management skills
A full valid driving licence is essential as Regional manager is field based
