You may have worked in an Import role and would like to broaden your skills further to develop your Export expertise or you have a strong base knowledge of international logistics experience (to Middle East/Asia ideally) and want to gain skills and experience in Import.

How you can make an impact:

Working within the wider UK Supply Chain team, the primary objective of the team is to provide exceptional levels of Customer Service and that OTIF/PFR targets are achieved through management of Imported and Exported stock. You will have a good awareness and understanding of GDP and import / export customs procedures to ensure correct transportation conditions and documentation requirements are met and will develop outstanding relationships with both internal stakeholders, such as the Business Hubs, STADA Affiliates, Supply Chain, Customer Services, Quality, Regulatory as well as external stakeholders, particularly 3PL and international freight providers.

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:  

• To plan and co-ordinate external produced in-bound and Export outbound logistics activities with suppliers, freight providers, and our 3PL partners.
• To communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding delivery schedules, inbound logistic plans and issues affecting inbound supply and release. e.g. QA, 3rd Party CMO Supply Planners, Supply Chain.
• Processing of customer orders onto SAP in an accurate and timely manner.
• Preparation of the appropriate documentation needed for each destination country and dealing with appropriate bodies e.g. Chamber of Commerce.
• To ensure key business processes are executed and supported to a high standard and are continuously challenged and improved.

• A solid track record if import and/or export international logistics experience ideally within FMCG/pharma sector or a similar highly regulated environment.
• Good understanding of GDP and either export /import customs regulations including post-Brexit requirements.

• Ideally degree qualified or professional accreditation highly desirable e.g. CILT, Institute     of Export

• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Experience of SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Customer focused approach with the ability to establish and develop highly effective business relationships with all key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
• A continuous improvement mindset that is customer centric focused.
