The Senior Contract Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to navigate the complex world of media and agency contracts. The successful candidate will manage, negotiate, and implement contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Client Details Our client is a well-established organisation in the media and agency industry. Based in London, the company is extremely well regarded within its industry, this role focuses on managing the company's Joint Venture contracts (JVs), the portfolio value is around £30 million. Description This Senior Contract Manager role is based in London and focuses on the company's Joint Venture contracts. This role joins a small team of Contract Managers, managing 1-2 individuals and reporting to the Head of Contract Management. Role Overview: To be the subject matter expert on our JVs and be responsible for reviewing new opportunities from existing and potentially new parties to drive the strategic aims of the business. To deputise for the Head of Contract Management when required (along with one other Senior Contract Manager). Accountable for ensuring all contractual services are received and delivered to the requirements of the business, customer, and all stakeholders. This role will involve working closely with the wider business and our legal team to ensure the drafting, designing, and defining new SLAs, as well as contributions to contract and KPI re-negotiations for existing and new agreements. To deliver all key activities and services, maximising our operational success through proactive planning and forecasting activities. Implementing improved workflows to support successful distributions. To manage escalations from various sources when required. Role responsibilities: *To use specialist knowledge to support the team and wider business. Look for opportunities from external suppliers to provide enhanced products for continuous improvement. *To support, train and develop Contract Managers to ensure a multi skilled team. *To deputise for the Head of the Department when needed *To identify and methodically implement process improvements, ensuring KPIs are achieved, and customer expectations are delivered. *To be the point of contact and to be the conduit between the business and the various service providers /customers/ stakeholders for 1st line escalations. *Deliver plans and key metrics to accurately measure contract efficiency, including quality of service and drive actions plans where needed. *Responsible for implementing a strategic, commercially focused and service driven approach; ensuring continual service and financial improvements are realised, measured, and shared. *Regularly review service level agreements against performance, identifying areas for improvement and working with key stakeholders to deliver agreed SLA objectives. *Identify change requirements and implement projects as required. *Effectively run the contract governance, assuring all contractual obligations, regulatory, cyber, and statutory requirements are observed and met. *Own the communication process and ensure timely, concise, and effective communication with the business for service outage, interruption and/or service improvement. *Work with stakeholders to leverage their knowledge to the advantage of the customer. Provide specialist advice and support to deliver the business's strategic objectives. *Use SME knowledge to provide specialist updates and briefings to a variety of audiences, both internally and externally. *Lead in the negotiation, representation, and resolution of local issues, including contracts, SLAs and change control procedure.
