Our school is currently recruiting qualified English teachers for young learners to be a part of our team of educators in the historical city of Ningbo. Our school focuses on teaching very young learners between the age of 0.5 to 3 years old.
We are motivated to provide an interactive, multi-cultural curriculum set in a warm, bilingual environment. Our unique program is designed to nurture positive development in children, laying a solid foundation for the lifelong growth of well-rounded individuals. We have a dedicated team of energetic and caring educators.
Our program is centered on helping to grow the intellectual, physical and emotional attributes of children, by promoting a positive well-being through a combination of academic learning and motor skills development. We provide a genuinely bilingual educational environment, where all classes are taught incorporating both the English and Chinese language. We foster a multi-cultural understanding in our students, to prepare them for what will be an increasingly multi-cultural world.
Ningbo is one of China’s oldest cities but has gone through plenty of changes in recent years. It is an economic center and has become the most developed city in Zhejiang province, just South of Shanghai on the East coast. The city has wonderful natural, cultural landscapes and historical sites to visit. The Tainyi Chamber was built in 1516 and is said to be the oldest surviving library building in China.
The weather in Ningbo is subtropical with humidity and distinctive seasons. Ningbo also has a well-developed and easily accessible transportation system. The school is located in a high-class neighborhood with shopping, restaurants and movie theater within walking distance or a short taxi ride. This city is famous for its rich history and various cultures and it has been acclaimed as “the state of cultural relics”. As a prosperous city in Zhejiang Province, this is one of the most visited places in Eastern China by tourists.
-Maximum of 30 teaching hours per week
-Monday to Friday classes (no weekend classes)
-Conduct classes that are fun and engaging
-Provide daily academic reviews
-Occasional field trips
-Co-teach and work closely with the Chinese local teacher in our bilingual school
-Attend teacher training sessions and meetings
-Excellent salary: 25,000 RMB (net) per month
-One way airfare reimbursement provided after contract completion
-Up to 3 weeks of hotel accommodation provided, if necessary
-Legal Z-work visa provided
-Comprehensive insurance provided

-All national holidays with 1 month summer vacation (paid) plus 5 personal holidays (paid) annually

-Bachelor’s degree
-TEFL certificate with 120 hours or above required (No TEFL? – We recommend INTESOL )
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Ireland
-At least one year of teaching experience with young learners
-Excellent English speaking skills
-Motivated, energetic, professional, creative team players with positive attitudes
