Job Title: Warehouse operative
Location: Tipton
Salary: £14.30/h
Hours: Mon-Thu 6pm-6am
Permanent
Purpose: To assist in the day to day Warehouse Operation. To be flexible in your approach to the various tasks involved from receiving of goods, stock allocation, picking, finished goods and dispatch functions. To help control stock accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and complete warehouse orders according to schedules.
* Receiving and processing of all warehouse products (picking, unloading, labelling and storage)
* Perform warehouse inventory checks and keep standards high for audits.
* Keep a clean and safe working environment and help to optimize space utilization.
* Ensure all tasks within your area of responsibility are completed on a daily basis.
* Ensure tasks executed are timely and accurate Ensure accuracy of all data to and from production/warehouse
* Ensure full traceability of stock at all times
* Report to line managers any stock discrepancies daily
* To help out in other areas of the warehouse as per business needs.
* Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
* Must be able to work flexible hours.
* To work as part of the team and be a contributor, where possible, to suggest, support and innovate new ideas.
* To work in an effective manner by performing duties in such a way that may add value to the product, operation or company.
* To ensure all duties are carried out efficiently, and on time.
* To communicate all issues to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors.
* To help control stock and traceability.
* To minimise stock loss.
