Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-time

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate 1:1  Teaching Assistant to join our team at the  Primary Schools in  Eastleigh . This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students who require additional support.

We are looking for proactive individuals to support  KS1/ KS2 classes . As a  Teaching Assistant , you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • As a  Teaching Assistant you will collaborate with teachers to support the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teachers.
  • As a Teaching Assistant you will assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • As a Teaching Assistant you will foster positive relationships with students and support their social and emotional development
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
 

 
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
