Job details Job details Job reference 24/111673 Date posted 04/03/2024 Application closing date 19/03/2024 Salary £37,841 - £40,134 per annum Job category/type Research Attachments Blank Research Fellow Job The Centre for Public Health, School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow The principal aim of the post is to undertake a Breast Cancer Now funded project to investigate inequalities in breast cancer presentation, treatment and outcomes in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria: A primary degree or Master’s degree in health, social sciences, public health, or statistics related subject. Have or be about to obtain a relevant PhD in epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, applied mathematics/ statistics or related discipline. Specific research experience and skills relevant to this project e.g. database management, statistical analysis, working with large epidemiological datasets. Experience of using statistical packages such as STATA. Contribution to authorship of articles in international scientific peer reviewed journals, commensurate with stage of career.
