Job description
The following skills and experience will be required and are essential for the successful candidates: Quality Management Be fully conversant with the services for which they are Quality Manager; relevant statutory requirements, the clinical governance, risk management and quality audit policies and procedures of the Trust and the system(s) of accreditation in use. Educate and train the Laboratorys staff in quality principles and practice. Responsible for the maintenance of the Networks Quality Manual and to ensure that information for service users is maintained to an appropriate standard. Responsible for a Network wide system for document control. Clinical Scientific & Management Responsibilities Liaise with the EPA Service Operations Manager to ensure a Quality Management System is in place within the service. Specialist Professional Manager & Lead Expert in Quality Management Deals with complex enquiries from Pathology users and External agencies e.g. UKAS and MHRA, , as the lead QMS expert May be required to deal with Service Users complaints Responsibilities for Laboratory Information Service Responsible for and maintains specialised databases in laboratory computer systems (QPULSE) on daily basis as lead administrator.
