Job description

Venesky-Brown’s client, a large public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit 1 x Administrator for initial 4 month contracts commencing 3rd of March on a rate of £11.70/hour PAYE. The roles is full time Monday to Friday and is based onsite in Dalkeith.

 
Responsibilities:

 
- Provide administrative support to ensure activities are carried out accurately and according to plan and to ensure compliance with documented processes.
- Data entry: create and maintain records, standard reports and spreadsheets to ensure information is up-to-date, easy to access and accurate.
- Carry out filing of information to ensure it is stored accurately following relevant policies and procedures.
- Incoming and outgoing calls to stakeholders
- Manage mailbox
- Variety of administrative tasks.

 
Essential Skills:

 
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Be able to understand written and verbal communications.
- Good attention to detail.
- Good, general administrative skills.
- PC literate with proficient and accurate keyboard skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Have a confident telephone manner.
- Good written communication skills.
