Primary School Teaching Assistant – Person Specification
- 2:1 in your degree or higher
- Previous experience with children, for example tutoring is desirable
- Good academic background
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career in education
- Friendly, hard-working and reliable
Primary School Teaching Assistant – The Role
- Working in a general capacity supporting class teachers where required
- Supporting groups of children outside the classroom
- Ensuring progress is being made in the classroom and outside
- Assisting in creating lesson plans and classroom management strategies
- Plan and deliver your own 1:1 booster/intervention sessions
- Paid in term time only, £80 to £95 per day
- Work 5 days per week
- Long term positions only – no supply!
