Role Overview

We are currently looking for a Cryo-EM Algorithm Developer to join a leading Drug Discovery & Development company based in the Cambridgeshire area. As the Cryo-EM Algorithm Developer you will be responsible for developing novel, ligand-focused, data processing approaches to transform drug discovery using cryo-EM.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Actively advancing the field of single particle analysis and implementing new image processing algorithms into a high-throughput platform for cryo-EM data management, processing and visualisation. 

2. Support the continued development of a cryo-EM SBDD/FBDD platform.

3. Work closely with a cryo-EM team to integrate and implement new methodologies, algorithms, software packages and functionalities.

Role Requirements

1. Detailed knowledge of single particle analysis (SPA) image processing theory with proven experience in algorithm development for SPA.

2. Knowledge of Python or a scientific software language.

3. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
