Role Summary:

We are seeking a UK-based Onsite Process Engineer, to work as part of the wider AIXTRON Customer Service team. This role will initially located at a customer site in the UK. This person will operate, service, maintain and troubleshoot an AIXTRON MOCVD (metal organic chemical vapour deposition) system. You will work closely with our application lab in Herzogenrath, Germany to define the program. This person needs to be customer-orientated, hands-on and resourceful at problem solving, and be able to travel both within the UK (full UK driver’s licence required) and internationally.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

• Inspect, maintain and upgrade existing MOCVD systems at customers’ premises.
• Provide training to customers, as well as other engineers.
• Support the customer in running the tool
• Self-sufficiently run the tool in close alignment with our application lab.
• Provide feedback to internal engineering teams on existing and new prototype systems, to guide future development.
