Job description
Workforce Staffing are currently recruiting for our client, a busy printing company based in Redditch.
They are looking for a Digital Print Operator / Print Finisher to join their team.
Location: Redditch
Shift: Day: Weekly rotation shift:
06:00-13:30 (Monday- Friday)
13:15- 22:30 (Monday- Thursday)
*20% shift allowance paid*
Day to Day Duties-
- Will work as part of our Production Team reporting to our Production Manager in the manufacture of a variety of products either autonomously or as part of a team.
- Will be responsible for all of the printing, finishing and quality checking of all the work they undertake.
- Manage the work you print or finish using sheet fed and reel-fed digital printing machines and advising the team leaders of any flaws in a job you may find in advance of issues occurring.
- Follow instruction and our existing operational procedures to the letter and query with their Line Manager if unsure.
- Be flexible in carrying out ad-hoc duties as required, including assisting or undertaking in fitting work externally or on site.
- Have a proficient knowledge of and ability of Quadient software / Adobe software
- Follow all instructions and existing operational procedures.
- A professional understanding of how clients use printed products and related services in general.
- Operational experience of using a guillotine and driving a fork-lift driving is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in foiling using Dimuken foiling lines / magnetic die cut cylinders / Tecnau sheeting lines / fan-folding lines (or similar print finishing equipment)
- Ideally have security print finishing experience is an advantage but not essential
