Contract Corporate Governance Assistant, Guernsey

Job description

Our client is a private bank and wealth management company seeking to recruit a Corporate Governance Assistant, Guernsey. This is a contract role for a period of 6 months until 24th June.

Key responsibilities will include;

• Assisting the Company Secretary in preparing the board packs and agenda, collating documents from internal colleagues/departments, distributing packs via Diligent and preparing the minutes of meetings.
• Coordinating and attending board and committee meetings, when required, in order to ensure that the Legal & Corporate Governance requirements are fulfilled.
• Assisting where required, with projects and day-to-day work from the business.
• Dealing with governance requests from the business.
• Managing and updating the organisation's terms of reference and ensuring all changes are
• submitted for Board approval.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 5 years of Cosec experience.
