Are you working in AML and looking for a new opportunity with a FANTASTIC employer, based in Edinburgh City Centre? If so, read on.
We are thrilled to be supporting our leading client to recruit an AML Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
You will work as part of a team, assisting the AML Manager ensuring the firms full compliance with AML regulations.
What you’ll do
- Process new client workflows
- Reviewing CDD/KYC information and additional documentation
- Reviewing risk assessments
- Liaising with Partners to obtain additional documentation
- Setting up online verification requests via Amiqus
- Managing all general AML queries from internal colleagues
- Providing documentation when requested from Partners
- Carrying out sanction screening/PEP
- Maintaining and managing ongoing cases
- Reviewing and updating high risk/PEP registers
What you’ll need
- Solid CDD/KYC experience, ideally from a Legal or professional services environment
- Hold an ICA certificate, desirable
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to attain objectives within agreed timescales and budgets
- Accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Solid organisational skills
- The ability to work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment
- You will be proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook
