Job description
Green Street Green Association promotes leisure activities and community cohesion by maintaining the community centre and managing fundraising events for which organisation, team-working and research skills are needed.
What will you be doing?
Volunteers are needed for leading on organisation of events and increasing and maintaining membership in various ways:
- Designing and carrying out marketing campaigns to increase awareness and membership
- Assisting with maintenance of the website, promoting activities at the Greenwood Centre and events
- Building strong relationships with local businesses to support the charity
- Heading a team of volunteers for organising events
- Training as a First Aider
What are we looking

- Experience of involvement in running events
What difference will you make?
By successfully fundraising, the Association will be able to extend its remit:
- Ensure the Greenwood Centre is maintained to the highest standard for future generations to use and enjoy
- Fund grants for young people needing financial support in improving sporting, musical, dramatic or artistic skills
- Fund grants for older people needing help in paying veterinary bills for their long term pets which keep them active
