Job description
**Support Worker in March PE15 **
**£14 per hour rising to £15 after successful probation period.**
Up to 15 hours per week (from 10.30am), made up with 2 1/2hrs - 3hrs per shift, may suit a job share.I am a 61-year-old lady with a number of health issues which make me feel isolated. It is important to me to have regular and reliable support workers.
Main duties
I need help with personal care tasks. To prepare meals and drinks. Support with everyday chores. Maintaining a clean domestic environment. Some shopping and to escort/drive me to hospital appointments.
Hours and pay£14 per hour rising to £15 per hour after probation period. 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (pro rata) Casual or contracted hours up to 15 hours per week. This may suit a job share.
The person I would like
Someone who enjoys being active and is confidently animal friendly, who can home cook nutritious meals, give me support with building my confidence/self-esteem and promoting my independence. Some knowledge and experience of working with people with health issues. You should be able to work flexible hours and be a good communicator and possess the motivation to develop trust and understanding in the role. Be hard working, reliable, committed, honest and trustworthy with a cheerful sense of humour.
