Job description
Responsibilities:
- Direct & Manage EMEAA Finance as the member of Global Finance leadership team by providing financial leadership, business partnership, and controls/compliance adherence and dividing time among these roughly as follows:
- Business unit financial leadership, business partnership, and performance improvement
- Strategic and annual planning
- Financial controls and compliance adherence and general accounting activities Ad hoc analyses and requests as required
- Lead the management, recording and communication of financial activities and results of operations to ensure accurate, timely and reliable reporting in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles as well as the accounting and government regulations in EMEAA.
- Work directly with President of EMEAA and leadership team to improve business performance
- Lead annual planning process for EMEAA to assure sustainable path to delivery of targets and highest and best use of resources
- Provide reliable and timely preparation, reporting and analysis of EMEAA WINN forecasts and annual plans in accordance with corporate directives.
- Develop and manage capital forecasts and budgets.
- Develop and maintain appropriate internal control procedures and process documentation to meet both regulatory and management requirements.
- Key point person for both internal and external audits, both financial and regulatory.
- Lead, develop, and motivate professional Finance staff based in EMEAA
- Process the complex monthly intercompany reconciliations of the numerous legal entities involving multi–currency and varied jurisdictions
- Carry our currency exchange revaluations in 5 currencies
- Board of Director activities for numerous separate legal entities
- Represent the business in contract and lease negotiations
- Oversee foreign payroll agencies
- Insurance point of contact for all policies across all counties within the Region
- Be the Finance lead for high value, high impact projects, including Capitol planning, budget cashflow monitoring, and policy adherence
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor degree or above in accounting or finance; CPA/MBA preferred
- Significant and relevant EMEAA Regional Management experience
- Successful track record as manager of a diverse financial group/organisation, preferably with a multi–national company
- Confident, strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Results–oriented, energetic, self–starter and team player with the ability to think conceptually, flexibly, and strategically
- Experience of continuous process improvement and organizational transformation
- Demonstrated experience in:
- Developing and implementing long and short–term strategic goals
- Implementing value–added, cost–effective solutions
- Working with an international financial team & EMEAA business team both
