Job description
We have been instructed on an interesting and varied corporate M&A role for a senior associate to undertake a 12 month contract role with a city law firm.
Starting in Q2, and working with a number of Partners across several sectors, this general corporate transactional role requires an experienced solicitor who is able to understand the parameters of a transaction from end to end.
Suitable candidates must have a good breadth of exposure to general mergers and acquisitions work and be confident leading more junior members of the team. There is lots of client contact, and a chance to take on high levels of responsibility throughout the deal.
Applicants must have at least 6/7 years of post qualified corporate transactional experience, and whilst England & Wales qualified solicitors are preferred, candidates who have qualified in another commonwealth jurisdiction who are able to demonstrate corporate experience at a UK firm will also be considered.
This is a well-rounded and exciting role that will suit either a professional contractor or a lawyer looking to make their first move in to interim work.
