Job description

Driver Hire Leeds West is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver on behalf of a reputable skip delivery company based in Pudsey, Leeds. If you have a passion for driving, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of delivering skips efficiently and safely, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

1. Safe and Timely Delivery : Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver skips to designated locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
2. Vehicle Inspection Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
3. Adherence to Regulations : Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and traffic laws, always maintaining a high standard of safety.
4. Customer Interaction Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery points, addressing any concerns or queries professionally.
5. Paperwork and Documentation Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle checklists.

Requirements :

1. HGV Class 2 License : Valid and up-to-date HGV Class 2 license.
2. Experience Proven experience as an HGV Class 2 driver with specific experience in delivering skips.
3. Focus Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
4. Customer Service Skills Good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with customers.
5. Reliability Punctual, reliable, and able to meet delivery deadlines consistently.
6. Flexibility Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet business demands.
