As Senior Electrical Engineer within the Croydon office you’ll join a talented, experienced and supportive team of engineers that have a reputation for delivering technically challenging, innovative, and sustainability-led projects from design through to construction across a range of sectors and building types, including iconic Commercial, Residential, Mixed-Use, Hospitality, Healthcare, Education, Government and Data Centre projects.

Responsibilities:
- Acting as Senior Engineer and Project Leader on electrical and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Project coordination and liaison with internal and external teams throughout all design stages.
- Produce engineering concept through to detailed design for a variety of technically challenging and innovative projects.
- Ensure all design projects and reports are technically compliant and to a consistently high standard.
- Promote technical excellence within the electrical team, supporting junior engineers.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements:
- A recognised electrical engineering qualification to degree level.
- Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer with a consultancy or contractor
- Good knowledge and use of appropriate software including ETAP, Amtech and DIALux/Relux, Revit etc.
- Familiarity with RIBA design stages, from Stage 1 through to tender design.
- Strong technical understanding of various electrical systems.
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in designing and managing projects within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels across multiple disciplines, as well as clients.
