Job description

Bede's is looking to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Piano to join our excellent team of visiting music teachers, working in a busy and thriving music department. The candidate will be required to teach piano to diploma level, as well as be cognisant of a range of musical styles and be able to teach across the age range, especially from 13-18. 

An excellent degree from a reputable university or conservatoire is essential, as is the ability to have first-rate performing skills. The ability to work as part of a wider team is an important part of this appointment as the successful candidate will work in cooperation with the Director of Music, other music staff and the Performing Arts Administrators in timetabling lessons on a weekly basis. To prepare students for auditions, to coach and work with students preparing for school productions, music theatre opportunities and other external performing engagements.

The successful applicant will be offered a casual contract,  the normal hours of work will vary from term to term.

Hourly Rate: £34.12 per hour
