Our client is a growing manufacturing company.
Looking for a fully qualified accountant to join the team on a permanent full-time basis based in the London HQ situated in the Wembley area. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with 2 years post qualified experience who has experience working at Group Level.
Role Objective: This role will constantly evolve, and we want you to develop with it.
Roles & Responsibilities: · Help oversee Assistant Accountants working on Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
· Support Month end / Year end close process and account reconciliations.
· Draft the monthly Management Reporting packs working alongside the Finance Controller for distribution to Senior Leadership Team
· Produce quarterly VAT returns/reconciliation and submission to HMRC.
· Treasury tasks including preparation and monitoring of the Groups weekly cash flow
· Assist Financial Director /Controller with year-end audit preparation and field work
· Assist with strategic financial management activities including pricelist updates, budget preparation, financial planning.
· Ensuring appropriate controls are in place and intercompany balances have been confirmed, assistance with Transfer Pricing and Group Consolidation.
· Assist in improving the Financial Reporting and Dashboard / KPI reports for better controls and monitoring of performance.
· Assist in the improvement of stock control, reporting & monitoring.
· Support in any systems improvements, projects and any new software rollouts
Desired Skills & Attributes: · Accounting experience - creditors, debtors & reconciliations, P&L and BS
· Treasury accounting - management and reporting of cash flows
· Manufacturing Experience - understand BOMs and Stock Management principles
· Advanced MS Excel and reporting skills (pivot tables, look up tables, SUM IF)
· SAGE, Quickbooks, Odoo, Concur and similar accounts, stock or expense packages
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Positive attitude, adaptable, flexible
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
· Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Accountant
· Minimum 2-3 years post qualification experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000.00 +
Office based for the first 6 months. Hybrid 1 day a week after
