Job description
Robert Half are pleased to be supporting this Leeds based professional services business with the recruitment of a Group Accountant for a period of a minimum of six months.
The business is making internal and external changes and the interim will support until the team has permanent staff in place.
The role, will sit at the heart of the Group finance function which receives monthly reporting from 50 countries via 8 regional hubs. Working closely with the Group Finance and Tax Manager, the Head of Group Tax, the Head of Finance and regionally based finance functions to help ensure global tax compliance requirements are adhered to on a timely basis and to deliver accurate accounting for tax matters.
Providing high quality support to the Head of Finance and Senior Group Finance Manager and other senior management, undertaking special project work as necessary.
The role will involve a mix of recurring monthly/quarterly tasks in addition to assisting with one-off projects as required.
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified and have experience working in a large international organisation.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and deadline management
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
This role will be offered on a hybrid model but you must be able to spend some of your time on site in the clients Leeds office.
