The ROLE

Due to continued growth in their orderbook and ongoing internal investment an opportunity has arisen for a talented Fabrication & Welding Manager to help lead their successful and expanding team. This role will involve;

* Manage a team of welders / fabricators / fitters
* Accept day to day responsibility for running a busy factory
* Plan workloads/production schedule
* Coordinating goods inward, in-process and final release inspections with the goods-in and QC teams
* Take lead on H&S matters
* Process manufacturing records (ITP's, Weld History Records, Heat Maps etc.)

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a talented Fabrication & Welding Management professional with experience of managing within a manufacturing/fabrication environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

* Experience of managing a team of fabricators and/or welders
* Preparing and maintaining production schedules
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Weld Procedure Specification
* Knowledge of pressure directives (PED & PE(S)R), ASME and international weld standards

Salary: Dependent on experience
