Experience Learning Support Assistant Required for Mainstream Secondary School
A pro-active mainstream secondary school within the Dudley area are looking for a clear-headed individual who is looking to take on a new challenge supporting individuals with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis within their classrooms. As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) you will work on a timetable basis with varying young people during different lessons; supporting them to access the learning taught by the teacher in the classroom. This is a secondary school with a supportive spirit and strong community ethos. The School requires a learning support assistant with previous experience of supporting varying special educational needs (SEN) needs such as Autism, learning difficulties and Dyslexia as well as other needs which affect the individual's ability to access the curriculum. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4:00, whereby you will work with different individuals at different times of the day, on a timetable basis.
