Job description

We are proud to be working in partnership with a great long standing manufacturing business based in the Borough of Bromley in the recruitment of an experienced Production Planner. The business promotes a strong focus on it's culture and engagement of it's people, this role will be joining a small team and reporting to the head of department.

£30-35,000/annum is on offer for the person with the right experience, with a productivity bonus, 25 + 8 days holiday, parking, good pension, perks and EAP programme.

• Experience of planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment
• High level of MRP/ERP system experience
• Driven, with a can-do attitude and a will to develop new skills and progress within the company should opportunities arise.
• Experience of forecasting and safety stocks.
• Able to work across a large range of product codes with various material lead times.
• Strong IT skills particularly MS Excel and MS Access
• Commercially and financially aware.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

The Production Planner will effectively plan factory production and maintain forecasts to meet the expected output of the business, to achieve its customer service targets and will also develop the forecasts for the business by analysing demand within the ERP system, evaluating forecast modelling results, and work within the supply chain team to effectively plan factory output and material flows.
