Job description

We are looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Languages, with the ability to teach Spanish to Key Stage 5.

You will join a friendly and supportive team, contributing to the teaching of Key Stage 3 of your second foreign language and (I)GCSE and A Level of your first foreign language. Your passion for languages will be complemented by your ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn.

The department also offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities, including Film and Cooking Clubs, as well as a vibrant mentoring programme. Educational trips abroad, as well as having a well-established exchange programme with a French partner school, are also integral parts of student learning experiences.  

All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards; students receive iPads upon joining the school, whilst teachers receive both an iPad and laptop.

About you

Able to teach all Key Stages and deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed, you will have a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.

You will be responsible for instilling a passion for languages in students, monitoring and evaluating student achievements, as well as contributing to accomplishing the College’s vision and mission.

We are a British international school, and all of our lessons are taught in English; therefore, a high standard of written and spoken English is essential, along with a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
