Job description

This role calls for a Construction Associate with a background in the legal and professional services industry. The successful candidate will be part of our legal team, focusing on construction-related matters.

Client Details

Our client is one of the largest law firms in the world and has a strong national and international in the infrastructure; construction and energy space. Over the last few years they have invested significantly in their Manchester office and you will be joining a top tier national construction team.

Description

As a Construction Associate you will be dealing with a full range of non-contentious construction matters. You will advise both national and international clients on their risk profile; and promote collaborative working and optimum project delivery.

You will be drafting agreements and implementing the rights and obligations that flow from them You will develop an understanding of where, how and why problems arise which enables our client to devise winning strategies to protect clients and to craft agreements that facilitate project delivery.

The team advise on every aspect from inception and procurement through funding and building to commissioning and operation. You will work closely with colleagues specialising in real estate development and project finance, insurance, tax, procurement law, planning, energy and environmental law, our client's full service Construction Team has a market-leading track record of advising on a diverse range of transactions and disputes concerning some of the largest, most complex and high profile projects in the world.

Profile

A successful Construction Associate should have between 2-6 PQE working in non-contentious Construction Law. Please note that the level of PQE identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less PQE from applying.
