A well known leading employer based near Fareham is recruiting an experienced Management Accountant on an 18 month fixed term contract with flexible hybrid working. Working as part of a central finance team the Management Accountant is responsible for delivering reporting, accounting and month end closing activities for a number of business areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
The key deliverables of the Management Accountant include:-
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Month end close work
- P&L preparation
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigation of variances and trends
- Statutory reporting and supporting the audit process
The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a number of years’ experience in a similar management / financial accounting role who is available to start on short notice and will commit to the 18 month contract duration. There could be oportunities for the role to extend or go permanent.
