Teaching Assistant

Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Secondary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £80 - £85 Per day

Skills: Teaching Assisting

Job Duties:

• Supporting teachers in delivering educational activities
• Assisting students with their learning and development
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supervising students during class and break times
• Providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
• Previous experience working in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential

Experience:

• Experience working with children or young people in a learning environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Working Conditions:

• This role may involve some physical activity and requires flexibility in working hours
• Working closely with teachers, students, and other staff members
• Adhering to school policies and procedures at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
