Assistant Accountant - Northamptonshire - £30,000 - £35,000 - Full-time Permanent
Brand new Assistant Accountant job in the growing finance team of a globally recognised brand. Due to business demand, I am working with this fantastic company to hire a new Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant who can support the team in preparing fully reconciled management accounts, as well as being responsible for VAT returns, cash flow management, AP management, and other finance duties.

Our client is a globally recognised brand that has played a significant part in influencing subcultures across the world. This multi-faceted business has a small group finance team in its head office in rural Northamptonshire that, due to recent new investment, is growing rapidly. We are now working with them to bring on board this new Assistant Accountant.
About the job:
A brand new, varied, and fast-paced position, this Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant role will be an integral building block to the finance team's growth. The role will see you responsible for Management Account preparation but also being involved with the transactional and bookkeeping elements of the role. The business works with multiple currencies, and it would be a great fit for you if you enjoy embracing different parts of accounting and picking up different project work as well.
Key responsibilities:
Management accounts preparation VAT Returns Bank Reconciliations Purchase ledger management Cashflow management Dealing with foreign currency
About you:
If you have experience putting together fully reconciled management accounts and enjoy working in an all-round, varied position, this is a great option for you. Ideally, you will have some experience with multi-currency environments and have some experience using SAP to be able to hit the ground running. You can be qualified by experience or AAT qualified.
