About Our Client

This client are a leading specialist in the utilities space and work alongside a variety of projects within the electrical, gas, water, telecoms and design sectors.

Job Description

Your role will involve:

• Assist in the commercial function and reporting for projects within the region including site budgets, payments, bench marking, WIP, cash flows and valuations.
• Monitor and report build costs periodically reporting any savings and excesses.
• Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of contractor performance.
• Management of external consultants involved in the commercial function.
• Collaboratively work with other internal departments.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal person for this role will already have experience working in a Quantity Surveying role or be working in an assistant level role looking to make a step up from assistant QS up to Quantity Surveyor.

You will have experience running multiple jobs at any one time as well as running this jobs independently whilst reporting into a more senior commercial team member.

Ideally you will be degree qualified however if you have experience within the role already, this isn't essential.
