An exciting position within our Justice and Immigration (J&I) division of Serco has become available. As the Compliance Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for audit and compliance across the Justice &Immigration (J&I) contracts, ensuring sites are compliant to the authorities’ audit baselines and derive an audit regime to ensure that pre audits are completed.
We are looking for an experienced leader with substantial knowledge of the FM industry’s standards, regulations and Property Management who is able to build excellent stakeholder relationships and provides a key interface for the client across the portfolio.
Ideally, you will hold current membership of a management body eg Institute of Leadership and Management and have extensive people management experience to deliver on accountabilities including:
- Ensuring that the Planned and Reactive maintenance strategy in line with industry best practise, maintenance technical standards and prison technical standards.
- Health and Safety lead and ownership of all aspects of HSE across the J&I sites, key relationship with central HSE team.
- Manage, monitor, audit and report on Statutory and Prison Technical Standards. Ensuring that J&I have an extensive audit regime in place.
- Ensuring all sites have a SSOW in place and APs are appointed and appropriate switching schedule, log books, mimic boards and locking schedules in place.

You must have strong problem-solving and influencing skills, methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities and adept with managing transformational change.
