What you will do in your working day
This Apprenticeship includes delivery of:
- Customer Support: Provide prompt and effective first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote desktop sessions.
- Address inquiries, issues, and requests professionally and courteously.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software-related problems and technical issues.
- Document all support requests and solutions for future reference.
- Installation and Configuration: Assist clients with the installation and initial configuration of our software products.
- Ensure they understand the setup process and can successfully use the software.
- Escalation: Escalate complex issues to the 2nd Line Support team or the appropriate department, providing them with detailed information to expedite resolution.
- Client Training: Offer basic training to clients on how to use the software effectively, including providing documentation or instructional materials.
The training you will be getting
Digital Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
The successful candidate will undertake an eighteen-month, nationally recognised qualification through TDM. This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in an online training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions.
You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.
This is a Level 3 qualification.

- Security
- Applications Technicians (or) Service Technicians
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Fulltime job upon completion. Possible further Apprenticeship training at a higher level.
