Job description
We are looking for an animation supervisor to join our team on a new season of a pre-school TV Series. This series is made using Moho, 2D rigged software. Ideally, we’d love someone who has experience in Moho but an enthusiasm to learn and experience in other rigged 2D rigged software is essential. Webinars on our moho pipeline are available here
Start: End of April to Mid November 2024
The role is based in our Derry studio, however we will consider remote working for UK applications.
Requirements
Industry experience in animation on a 2D TV series production (ideally 2+ years but open to promising animators with good experience at junior and mid level who are looking to eventually step up)
Good knowledge and experience with Moho, though experience in another Digital 2D Animation Software such as CelAction or ToonBoom (bone animation) and/or CGI experience with Maya or 3D Max can be acceptable depending on experience
Good team player and communicator
Must be organised and have a good eye for continuity and detail.
Ability to work within a team, prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines with production
Must be passionate about character animation and acting.
Responsibilities
Work with Animation Supervisor to produce 2d animation that meets the creative quality & needs of production
Responsible for the final output of assigned animation scenes
Take direction and respond well to notes and pitch creative/technical solutions to potential problems
Ensure quality and style consistency with the series
Liaise with the production department to ensure deadlines are kept and quotas are fulfilled.
