Job description
Opportunity for a permanent ER partner to join a leading construction business in Dartford. Salary £65,000 – £75,000. 5 days per week in the office required.
Key Deliverables And Accountabilities:
- Main point of contact for cases.
- Proactively manage a large caseload of 15 to 70 cases concurrently, covering various aspects of ER, including performance, sickness absence, disciplines, grievance, redundancies and SOSR cases.
- Conduct thorough investigations, interviews, and fact-finding to gather relevant information, recognising when it is necessary to escalate cases to Legal Counsel and People Leads.
- Support change projects within the business, offering TUPE and Change support.
- Collaborate with HR and other stakeholders to develop strategies and solutions for complex ER issues.
- Develop and deliver training material across our projects on ER matters, raising awareness and improving knowledge among Line Managers and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Legal Counsel to manage and review our Employment Policies and practices as appropriate to ensure these are up to date and fit for purpose.
- Support Legal Counsel on the preparation of subject access requests and employment tribunal requirements, preparing documentation and evidence, ensuring all necessary deadlines are met.
- Build collaborative and productive working relationships with the HR Operations team as well as the broader function and business stakeholders.
Professional Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Diploma; CIPD Associate Level or working towards CIPD Level 7 / CIPD Member Level desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of Employment Law and People procedures.
