Finance Manager - Belfast - *Hybrid

Reed Finance is partnered with a FTSE 250 client in Belfast, in the appointment of a permanent & full-time Finance Manager (qualified accountant).

• Report directly to the Financial Controller
• Provide a professional and efficient financial support service to the department and wide organisation
• Taking the lead in the preparation of Month-End Accounts and Group submissions within deadlines
• Completion of control account reconciliations
• Assistance with the preparation of Forecasts, Budgets, Statutory Accounts
• Completion of all VAT returns including MTD submissions
• Management of and assistance with supplier rebate calculations and reporting
• Management of and assistance with the external audit process, ensuring a successful audit
• Management of and assistance with IFRS16 lease requirements including maintaining the Group lease management system.
• Assistance with the management and development of junior members of the finance team
• Other duties as an when required by the Senior Management Team.

About you:

Our client seeks to appoint a self-motivated individual, highly numerate and analytical, with keen attention to detail and with at least two years’ post-qualified experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation, both internally and externally, are essential.

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
• Experience in a similar finance role with at least 2 years’ post-qualified experience
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, controls, and procedures
• Strong Excel skills (high level) including use of formulas such as “IF” and Vlookup.
