As a Credit Controller, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our company by managing our credit accounts and minimizing risk.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively monitor and analyze customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debt risk.
- Proactively chase outstanding debt via telephone / SMS / Email
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
- Implement effective credit control procedures and policies to optimize cash flow and reduce outstanding debts.
- Conduct credit checks and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Negotiate payment terms and agreements with customers while maintaining positive relationships.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on credit statuses and aging analysis for management review.
The ideal Credit Controller
- Previous experience in credit control or a related field preferred,
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
