Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a national, Legal 500, firm who has a great reputation in the Construction Law Sector.

The Construction Law Team is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Construction (Non-Contentious) Solicitor to join its Birmingham office.

You will work closely with an industry leading partner on a broad range of cutting-edge projects including building procurement matters and renewable energy projects, in particular, solar, carbon capture and battery storage. The team works for both private and public sector organisations, contractors, funds, consultants and sub-contractors.

The Candidate:

• You will be between 0 - 3 years' pqe, at a recognised construction team (either contentious or non-contentious)

You will have experience of:

• Drafting amending and negotiating building and engineering contacts
• NEC & Institutional forms of contract
• Drafting and amendments of consultant's appointments, warranties, bonds, guarantees, development & funding agreements, agreement for leases, novation agreements and ancillary project documentation
