SF Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading local and national £multi-billion turnover leader within their industry in the recruitment of a Financial Accountant.

About the role You'll join an established, strong finance cohort within their statutory reporting team. In this role, you will work alongside the Senior Financial Manager on Financial Accounting tasks including balance sheet reviews, group reporting, tax compliance and statutory reporting (including working with auditors) ensuring that all reporting requirements are met in a timely, accurate and meaningful manner.
This role has been designed to be flexible and provide support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team where necessary, an as such will be a varied and attractive role.
Main duties and responsibilities include: About you You will be a technically strong qualified Accountant (preferably with practice background), with strong analytical skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in auditing is desirable and however you will be required to have the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation, and cross functional.
You will ideally also have experience in management reporting processes, and the completion of statutory audits, alongsid prior exposure to conducting financial policy and financial control reviews, and implementing improvements in line with industry guidelines.
Attention to detail and time management skills essential, as are excellent communication ability, able to tailor style to the audience including frequent communication with senior leaders (both written and verbal)
