Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

• Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
• Support students with learning activities and help them to engage with the curriculum
• Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
• Collaborate with other staff members and parents to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of students

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with SEN

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Experience working with children with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of SEN and different learning needs
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with students
• Organisational skills and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

• Higher-level Teaching Assistant qualification
• Training in specific SEN interventions or techniques

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily within a primary school setting
• Full-time hours with potential for additional responsibilities
• Collaborative work environment with other educational professionals
